Is the rewards rate good?

Case 1: 2 points for every INR 100 spent on Weekdays

Since 1 reward point is equivalent to INR 0.25, therefore you earn INR 0.5 on every INR 100 spent. So, rewards rate is 0.5/100 * 100 % = 0.5%

Case 2: 4 points for every INR 100 spent on Weekends

You earn double the rewards on weekends. Hence, rewards rate is 1%

  • You can spend INR 1,000 five times in a month in order to get the monthly spend benefit
  • Spending INR 1.5 Lakhs to be eligible for the annual fee waiver is possible for you

How to Redeem Rewards?

To redeem your reward points, you need to log in to the RBL Rewards page. After logging in, you can redeem your points for flights, hotels, lifestyle vouchers etc. However, you need to redeem at least 1,000 points in a single instance. Please note that every reward point is worth INR 0.25.

How to make the most of this card?

To get maximum benefits, use the credit card at least 5 times a month. Each transaction should be of at least INR 1,000 to receive 1,000 monthly bonus points. Furthermore, you need to spend INR 1.5 Lakhs on your card in a year in order to be eligible for annual fee reversal. To get Fuel surcharge Waiver, individual transactions should be in the range of INR 500 to INR 1,000.

  • Maximum Fuel Surcharge waived: For all transactions falling in the range of INR 500 to INR 4,000 at petrol pumps, the waiver is capped at INR 150 per month

Nothing fares better than Standard Chartered Manhattan Platinum Credit Card when it comes to the best entry-level credit card for salaried people.  It is a perfect all-rounder credit card for people who live in Tier 1 and 2 cities and want to use it for their everyday expenses. Citibank Cashback Credit Card

If you are looking for a great entry-level credit card, then Citi Cashback credit card is a safe bet. It takes care of your entertainment needs while simultaneously taking care of your phone and utility bill payments. Moreover, the good thing about this credit card is you always get something out of it. The 0.5% cash back on all other categories is not bad since you are not going empty-handed.

This credit card does not offer airport lounge access or golf privileges, making it slightly disappointing. However, you can always take a second credit card which specifically caters to your travel and airport lounge access needs. Additionally, you don’t get any welcome bonus on this card.
